Lara Croft is in every way, a superhero. She even had her own comic book that lasted for serval years.
Lara started out life as a video game character in 1996. She was an instant hit. The original Tomb Raider pushed video gaming to a new level and is probably the title that really hooked more women than any video game before.
Lara Croft is said to have been born February 14, 1967. Two days before me, making us both Aquarians. She is a wealthy, highly educated adventurer and an inspiration to many women who feel that she is as good as any man, not because she's a woman, but just because she is smart and well trained. She is strong and talented. Never a damsel in distress, Lara is a true action/adventure heroine.
Over the years, I've collected several Lara action figures but for my birthday in 2009, my husband got me the new Tonner Lara Croft doll in the outfit she wears in the game Tomb Raider Legend. We both fell in love with this doll. I include a few pictures of her in the Visit to the Tonner doll store gallery, but below, are a few quick shots of my personal doll. As you see, she's scaling the entertainment center. I will try to get better shots of her later. for now, I just wanted to get this page up.
